I'm no designer…

…nor a developer; I'm somewhere inbetween.
User friendly interfaces and pixel-perfect icons are just my thing, but (and call me crazy) I can also really enjoy getting out code, even more so once it's dark outside.

I'm a pessimist

When someone comes up with an awesome idea, I don't show my enthousiasm. It's my cue to start thinking about the consequences of said solution, and possible issues.

And a perfectionist too

But I do ask my peers and teachers for feedback (even though I still like to go my own way), for me it's just difficult to do a release while a product's still unfinished in my eyes.

I have a burning desire to stay up-to-date

I'm using Chrome on the developer channel, download beta releases whenever possible, and enjoy trying new stuff. Some platforms I'd like to explore sometime are Node.js, Rails, Windows Metro, Windows Phone and even Android Tablets (Yes, I'm an iOS user who finds Ice Cream Sandwich to be pretty sexy. There, said it, happy now?).

• like bright colors.
• hate Flash-powered websites (but also buzzwords like HTML5).
• enjoy translated products (I even helped to translate Twitter into Dutch).
• like helping people (since November 2011 I've been assisting my fellow students for the PHP courses).
